Oak perch to screw into the cage, in 30 and 40 cm.
The screw-in perch is a perch of solid oak that you twist tight between the bars. It therefore sits firmly and stays in place, even when a larger bird lands on it or pulls itself up by it.
Oak is the reason this perch lasts. It is a hardwood: where softer kinds of wood get gnawed and notched after a while, a bird has a hard time damaging this one. The colour is also warmer and browner than ordinary light wood, which looks good in the cage.
Washing it is no problem: the perch is smooth, you wipe it or rinse it clean and it can go back into the cage.
Available in two lengths, 30 and 40 cm, per piece or per pack of 50.

Which length do I choose?
That depends on the width of the cage: 30 cm for the smaller cages, 40 cm for the wider ones. For the rest both perches are identical.
Why oak?
Oak is a hardwood. Birds damage it far less easily than softer kinds of wood, so the perch keeps its shape and its strength.
Can a bird bite the perch to pieces?
Birds always gnaw, but because oak is hard it goes slowly. With soft kinds of wood you end up with a chewed-through perch far sooner.
How do I clean the perch?
Wiping or rinsing is enough. Then let it dry for a moment before you put it back.
Can I order per piece or only per pack?
