Lovebird nest box to hang up, with a perch below the entrance hole and a lid that opens fully.
At the front there is a round entrance hole with, below it, a wooden perch that sticks out. The bird lands on the perch and goes inside from there.
Inside there is a partition. The bird does not reach the nest straight away: it first has to get behind the partition. The clutch and the young therefore lie out of sight and it stays quiet in the nest. Behind the partition a round nest hollow is worked into the base, so you do not need to place a separate nest inside.
The lid on top opens fully in one movement. You then have the whole box in front of you to check, to ring or to clean.
At the back there are two holes for hanging the box on the wall or on the bars. This is the extra large version, 20 × 30 × 20 cm; the same box is also available as Lovebird nest box large, in 16 × 25 × 16 cm.
