Calcium-rich shell sand as bedding, in white and brown.
Shell sand is cleaned and broken shell material, meant as bedding in cages and aviaries. You spread a thin layer on the floor and refresh it regularly.
The sand absorbs moisture and dirt, so the floor stays drier and smells get less chance. In addition the birds pick small particles out of it themselves: those help in the gizzard to grind seeds fine, and the calcium naturally present in it contributes to strong bones, a healthy beak and firm eggshells in breeding birds.
Available in white and brown, both in 25 kg bags. You order per bag or per full pallet of 48 bags.
