Nesting box extra no. 2 with nest, in white with orange.
The nest box has plastic hooks to hang it up. As intended, it hangs on the revolving door of the front: the box is then outside the cage and the birds enter through the opening. That keeps the space in the cage free, and to look inside you do not have to enter the cage — you only open the little door of the box.
You can just as well hang it inside the cage, on the bars or on a support you make yourself. It is used that way too; you then simply have a nest inside the cage.
This is the extra model: a little higher than nest box no. 1 and more carefully finished. Where no. 1 has a small sliding door, this model works with a flap fixed at the bottom: you first lift it and then fold it down open. That way you have the whole nest in front of you in one movement.
This model is always supplied assembled; it is not available unassembled.
