At the front there is a round entrance hole.
Below the entrance hole there is a wooden perch that sticks out. The bird lands on it and steps inside from there.
The lid on top opens fully and stays attached to the box. That way you check the nest or clean the box without taking it down.
The box has a small hole for hanging it up.
The box measures 10.8 × 10.5 × 15.8 cm, which makes it taller than our small versions no. 1 and no. 2.
